Hearts of Fire is a hands on experience for 7th and 8th graders. This program breaks out of the traditional classroom experience to allow the teens to become more involved in their parish community while reaffirming their baptismal promises and exploring their Catholic Faith. Hearts of Fire is designed to give teens a glimpse into where they fit into parish life and how faith is apart of their everyday. Group work, discussion questions, guest speakers, community/friendship building and light community service work will be incorporated. Our Catholic theme will focus on Morality for the 2009-2010 year. For those wishing to be more involved with community service and prayer experiences there is a Junior Youth Group,available for 6th-8th graders, which focuses heavily on community service and fun along with reverence and prayerful experiences.
